Synopsis:

Coming from a broken family, Ka Chung (played by Chan Ka Lok) establishes a company providing 'family for rent' services with Pei Yi (played by Chow Ka Yi), a single mother who has been struggling to find success in her acting career. By chance, Ka Chung discovers Chi Kwong (played by Eric Tsang), an extra who is obsessed with acting, and invites him to join their 'family for rent' business. Chi Kwong readily agrees. Soon after, they meet Fong Fong (played by Hanna Chan), a landlady who loves dancing. Through a twist of fate, Chi Kwong and Fong Fong become an 'interim couple' and together with Ka Chung and Pei Yi, they form a 'family'. However, during their service, this makeshift family uncovers a deep secret. What does it truly mean to be family? What is the most valuable connection? Through this story, director Liu Wei Heng invites the audience to reflect on these questions.
